AUSTRIANS VICTORIOUS AT IBSA TORBALL WORLD CUP AND EUROPEAN TORBALL CUP
Austrian teams took gold in both the men’s and women’s events at the 7th IBSA Worldcup Torball and 20th IBSA European Torballcup for national champions.
Hosted by local club A.S.D. Teramo non vedenti in the Italian city of Teramo, the events saw eight women’s teams and nine men’s teams from seven countries compete for the titles.
Participating teams were welcomed and received by the local authorities before being introduced at the official opening ceremony in the town square.
At the end of the two-day competition, it was Austrian teams VBSC Vorarlberg (women) and BSS Tirol (men) who were celebrating victory.
