TORBALL HOLDS SUCCESSFUL INTERNATIONAL REFEREEING CLINICS IN AUSTRIA
IBSA Torball Chairman Dr. Max Ott reports on the successful international clinics for Torball referees held recently in Innsbruck, Austria:
Report of the Torball referees clinic 2010
The Torball referees clinic took place from October the 1st to 3rd 2010 and was included in the “12th Alpencup of the city of Innsbruck”, Austria.
Sixteen participants from 7 countries took part in this referees course.
On Friday evening Christl Daentler (Germany), head referee in Torball, and Max Ott (Austria) Chairman of the IBSA Torball Subcommittee, received the participants from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Moldova and Switzerland and they were very pleased to welcome so many interested people. After dinner the changes in the Torball rules were discussed and many questions from the referees were answered.
On Saturday each referee had to supervise some games and two of the other referees were watching/judging them and their activities.
On Sunday morning all participants had to undergo a written test and many examples were discussed.
All referees passed the clinic and they received their B-Licence as international Torball referee for the next four years and additionally an official IBSA referee’s shirt.
