4TH IBSA TENPIN BOWLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS – UPDATE FROM THE ORGANISERS
Following a meeting at the Sunway Megalanes Bowling Centre, the organising committee in charge of the 4th IBSA Tenpin Bowling World Championships, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from October 7th to October 16th, has confirmed the following:
1. Change of Entry Fees
The local Organizing Committee of 4th IBSA Tenpin Bowling World Championships decided to raise entry fees due to the recent dramatic fall of US dollars. The new entry fees are as follows:
A. US$1070 for double occupancy
B. US$1470 for Single Occupancy
We apologise for any inconveniences due to this last minute change. However, the organizing committee has been working very hard to increase the funding from the sponsors to reduce the financial burden on participating countries. We hope you understand the situation. If you already made the bank transfer you can bring the extra fees by cash to Malaysia and pay when you arrive.
2. Competition website
The Competition Website will be as follows:

New information will be posted on the above website. Please check once in a while.
3. National flag and national anthem
Please bring 2 national flags and the national anthem on CD (not cassette tape).
4. Photos
Photos of all participants can be sent in digital forms either by e-mail or on CD. They will be used for accreditation cards and the souvenir program.
5. Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will be held from 8 p.m. on 10th of October instead of 10 a.m. on 11th of October.
6. Transport Information
For your information there are two airports in Kuala Lumpur. One is Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the other is Low Cost carrier Terminal (LCCT). When you submit the transport form please specify which airport your team will be arriving. Excess baggage issues should be solved by each participating countries.
