MALAYSIA TO HOST IBSA TENPIN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN OCTOBER 2011
 Kuala Lumpur is to play host to the 4th IBSA World Tenpin Bowling World Championships in October of this year.
Countries are invited to contact the organisers – the Malaysian Association For The Blind – by February 28th 2011 to express interest in competing.

THE 4th IBSA WORLD TENPIN BOWLING CHAMPIONSHIP 2011
The Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) has great pleasure of inviting you to the 4th IBSA World Tenpin Bowling Championship 2011. The championship is scheduled to take place between the 7th to 16th October, 2011 in Sunway Mega Lanes, Bowling Center, Sunway Pyramid Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The tournament will be conducted under the IBSA Tenpin Bowling rules and the Competition Rules including competitions for singles, doubles, three players team and four players’ team events for scratch games only. Only bowlers with IBSA vision classification of B1, B2, or B3 will be eligible to compete.
A country team must carry not more than twenty (20) members (up to twelve bowlers, a coach, a team manager, pin spotters, and interpreters).
The tournament entry fee is USD1,000.00 per person based on a twin sharing accommodation. The fee includes accommodation, Bowling fees and daily ground transportation (plus airport transfer) for the period 7-16, October, 2011. The cost for any additional day will be USD80.00 per day, per room for one or two persons and does not include meals or transportation before 7th October or after the 16th October.
In order for us to plan a great event and to keep you updated and well informed, we ask that you complete the attached form. This form is a preliminary request for information to determine your interest in participating in this event.
Entry forms will be sent to you at a later date once we receive your interest in participating.
We are aware it is very important for your team to make plans in order to prepare fully for this event and will be constantly updating you with information about the championship.
