Dear IBSA Member Federation,
We are very pleased your delegation will participate in the 2011 IBSA World Youth Championships to be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, July 12-17.
Attached is the 3rd Entry by Name. Please complete the forms and return them to me including your wire transferred entry fees by June 1. As indicated from the number of participants from your 2nd Entry, we are providing you an estimated invoice. You are permitted to change the number of participants in your delegation which you will change in your 3rd Entry. If your delegation number has changed, indicate the new number on your invoice and calculate the adjusted entry fees for your delegation. Since several countries have expressed interest in Girl’s Judo, we have decided to add it back on the program. Please understand that with two age divisions and several weight categories, it may be difficult for us establish matches within those established age and weight categories and we want you to be aware of that fact. With this said, for us to provide updates on the number of girl judo athletes participating in the competition, it is IMPERATIVE ALL COUNTRIES WHO PLAN TO PARTICIPATE IN GIRL´S JUDO SEND YOUR THIRD ENTRY IMMEDIATELY.
As you know, many young athletes who have participated in these past Games have gone on and competed in your national competitions; international competitions and for some the Paralympic Games. We are honored to host these Games which promote a wonderful opportunity for our youth to understand what it means to participate in an international competition further promoting cultural understanding and diversity.
If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Your friend in sport,
Mark A. Lucas Chair of the 2011 IBSA World Youth Championships
