2009 IBSA SHOWDOWN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS TAKE SHAPE
 The Swedish organisers of the 2009 IBSA Showdown World Championships have announced that IBSA member countries will shortly receive the invitation to compete in the event. The championships will be held in Handen, a suburb of the capital Stockholm, from August 12th to August 16th.
The championships are organised by the Swedish Sports Organization for Disabled (SHIF) and the Swedish Paralympic Committee.
